Dr Natasha Nogueira
General Practitioner
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Natasha believes good medicine takes time. Her consultations are intentionally longer and unhurried — she treats people, not just problems, and looks at health holistically: the physical, mental and life circumstances that shape wellbeing.
Dr Natasha is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society (AMS) and keeps current with the latest evidence in midlife women’s health. She consults fluently in English and Portuguese.
Teaching
Dr Natasha is a passionate advocate for general practice and teaches medical students about the vital role GPs play in the health system. With her students, she focuses on conditions that are often under-taught at medical school. Because of this, you may occasionally find a medical student joining your consultation — Dr Natasha hopes you’ll be comfortable with their presence, as involving patients like you is how the next generation of doctors learns. Reception will ask for your consent before your appointment, and patients are always welcome to say no — no explanation needed.

From October 2026, she will be fully accredited to diagnose and treat ADHD without requiring a psychiatrist referral.
Home visits
Many patients find staying home far easier than getting to a clinic when they’re unwell — and Dr Natasha agrees there’s real therapeutic value in being seen where you’re comfortable. She’s equally happy to visit well patients: if wrestling little ones into the car and sitting in a waiting room makes a routine appointment a battle, a home visit can simply be the kinder option.
Home visits are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays within Dr Natasha’s local catchment area, for established patients and those unable to attend the clinic.
Consulting schedule
- Wednesday & Friday — Torquay clinic
- Tuesday & Thursday — Home visits
Patients
New patients of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. A 45-minute initial appointment is recommended so there’s genuine time to hear your story — please mention this when booking.
If a longer appointment isn’t available, shorter slots are best kept for straightforward issues. Dr Natasha won’t cut corners either way — she’ll always be as thorough as the situation demands, which occasionally means running behind. Booking appropriate appointment lengths is the main thing keeping the day (and her) running on time.

Beyond the clinic
Outside medicine, Dr Natasha is usually in the garden, painting, or outdoors with a book and a coffee— and increasingly in the ocean, where she’s learning to surf alongside her daughter. If you spot her around Torquay, don’t hesitate to say hello. Dr Natasha also keeps the indoor plants at Banksia Medical Centre Torquay healthy and thriving — you’re more than welcome to take a cutting for propagation.
