Tonight is the beginning of Victoria wide compulsory face covering come into effect. There has been lots of videos and FB pages published about how ‘not’ to wear masks or how to be medically ‘exempted’ to dodge the law.
Our advice is ‘DON’T’! ‘
The government declared a state of emergency. It invoked section 198 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 and conferred on Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton emergency powers to make directions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as he or his delegates saw fit.’
Many has tried, many has been fined – well for sure they wont post those videos when they have to pay $1600 after breaching the law.
It is not about you, or me, but this is about us. We are all in this together. As Australians, we embrace our ‘Mateship’ culture. A culture the rest of the world envies. Let’s look out for each other, let’s do the right thing together.
